TRIVIA: WHAT IS ALLERKID?
Cetirizine Allerkid is the Most-doctor prescribed and No. 1 Allergy Medicine for kids. It is effective in relieving allergy symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis such as sneezing, nasal itching, watery eyes or what we call as “hatsing-singhot-kamot”. It is also used for Allergic conjunctivitis and Atopic dermatitis. Allerkid controls allergy in as fast as 20 minutes that lasts up to 24 hours, thus it can only be taken once a day. Kids will surely love the great grape taste of Allerkid because it uses TasteRite Technology which masks the bitter taste of medicines.
No more drama when drinking medicine with Allerkid just like having fun at Kidzania.
My Allerkid Story:
My daughter, Alyssa Ashley, has been diagnosed with Allergic Rhinitis. Her Pediatrician recommended Allerkid because of effectiveness and it is a child friendly medicine. It has a sweet taste that kids will surely loves. No more “pahirapan magpainom ng gamot drama”. Because of her condition we are very careful on her health to avoid from getting sick.
But on December 30, 2015, during our Commercial shoot for a Milk Brand it was a shocking experience for us. It was about dinner time, however, our food has not yet delivered so we just get some palabok at the catering area. The sauce was so rich and tastety that even Ashley like it. After 2-3 spoonful of Palabok her Casting Director notice someting on her eyelid. We thought it was just insect bite. So I brought her to the restroom and check it out. Just a few seconds, rashes started to appear all over her face and entire body. Her eyes were swollen and her neck as well. I was so shocked and hurriedly call for help. The shoot was stopped and the production is busy finding a way how to handle it. They have called the client to take Ashley to the hospital. Good thing that the owner of the house is a Physician. However, she doesn’t have a medicine for kids anymore. But she just gave me a soothing cream while one of the staff went to buy medicine that she prescribes. They bought Allerkid for Ashley and we will just waited for 10-20 minutes for the medicine to take effect. If it doesn’t we will have to bring her to the hospital. But, Allerkid did it. The rashes subsides. We went home with peace of mind. We will just have it reshoot on a later date.
Since then, I have learned my lesson. I always bring Allerkid with me whenever we go out. But, it is ok because Allerkid is available in every store nationwide so worry no more. But it is wise to be ready at all time.

Allerkid, the kid allergy expert, aims to increase awareness and promote allergy education among parents and kids alike and what better way to do this through its partnership with the pediatricians, who are the kid health experts. During this exclusive event, allergy education on the signs, symptoms and
management of the condition will be presented by Dr. Shirley Kwong, an allergist from the Philippine
Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (PSAAI) and Mr. Ony Carcamo, a renowned-ventriloquist to
capture both the doctors and their kids through edutainment. This event will also be used as a venue to promote the Allergy Club of PSAAI, which aims to educate patients about their allergic diseases to help them control their allergies and improve their quality of life. Through this, we want Allerkid to be the preferred partner of doctors and moms in managing the allergic condition of their patients and kids.
